After a lengthy closure the Fox re-opened in August 2016 following a full refurbishment of the pub, and celebrates being a free house for the first time in the pub's history.
Four real ales are available on hand pump plus 2 real ciders. Friday night pizza or fish and chips only, traditional Sunday lunches, full menu other days. The pub also holds regular quiz nights. Awarded the local CAMRA branch Pub of the Month in February 2017 and branch Pub of the Year 2018.
