A traditional village local, rebuilt in 1910, the Sun was bought from Brakspear in 2013 by a local businessman when it became a free house. It serves two regular local real ales and traditional good-value, home-cooked pub food lunchtime and evenings Wednesday-Sunday, including a roast on Sundays. Has a log fire in the bar on cold winter days and benches at the front and on the rear patio for warmer summer days.
The pub hosts an increasing number of events, such as quiz nights, classic car shows and chess player meetings. The Stoke Row Rally is held every June in an adjacent field, organised by the pub owner. Check their Facebook page for the latest events.
Has wheelchair access via the side entrance, but no specific disabled toilets.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (summer months only) and 2 regular beers.
