CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales.
The Craufurd Arms has been bought by the community for the community after being registered as an Asset of Community Value and has been voted SWM Pub Of The Year two years in a row. The strap line is: "Your Pint Sized Community Pub". The pub dates back to the late 1800s and was at the edge of the site of Craufurd College, which was a private school for boys, hence the unusual spelling. A cosy single bar hosts a multitude of activities. Cribbage on Monday, community meeting Tuesday, darts Wednesday and Thursday is quiz night. Two large screens show Sky and BT sports. Jazz is back on the last Sunday in the month, open to 11pm. Check Facebook for details.
