Maclays has belonged to three families since 1830,it to be under sole ownership of the Matthew's family.Thistle brewery, ceased producing beer in early 2001.The recipes and beer are produce at Clockwork Brewery,Glasgow. Also Belhaven and Sleeman's in Canada.
