Description

Atom Brewing Co was founded in 2014 by Allan Rice and Sarah Thackray. Most of its production goes into can and keg, but cask ales are produced in rotation or on demand, around a core range. Atom's ethos is science and education based, so working with local colleges, it runs regular brewing schools and classes. All beers are unfined and unfiltered (so naturally hazy).

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.

Atom - Brewery Tour

60 minute tours at Atom's brewery, Unit 4 & 5 Food & Tech Park, Malmo Road, Hull HU7 0YF resumed in January 2023 with the intention of them eventually being available again once a month. At £15, tours are announced via a link from atombeers.com/brewery-tours/ to a login on the Eventbrite website.
