Description

Brewing started in the 1860s in the centre of Alnwick, the capital of Northumberland. The brewery was acquired in 1978 by Scottish brewer Dryboroughs, who closed it in 1986, but relaunched in 2003 with the assistance of the Duchess of Northumberland. Having expanded onto a 10-barrel plant in 2020, five core beers are now produced. Lockdown in 2020 also allowed some development onsite and a taproom and shop were opened. More than 50 outlets are supplied in the north of England. The brewery acts as a distribution hub for beer festivals in the north of England as well as Scotland.

Currently, we don’t have information on beers produced by this brewery. But don't worry! Our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to gather and update our database. You too can join the effort and help the CAMRA community grow stronger. Your contributions could help beer enthusiasts find their next favourite brew.
