Marston's

Marston's Brewery, Shobnall Road, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2BW (View on Google Map) 01283531131 enquiries@marstons.co.uk Website

Description

Brewing in Burton since 1834, it houses the only working Burton Union fermenters. Developed in the 19th century, they are used to cleanse the new style of pale ale yeast. Only Pedigree is fermented in them, but the yeast is used in other beers. A nanobrewery within the visitors centre (DE14) is used for small-batch brews. Contract brewing includes Draught Bass brewed for AB Inbev. A joint venture with Carlsberg in 2020 led to the company being renamed Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company.
