Description

The Griffin Brewery has stood for more than 360 years with the Fuller's name coming from the partnership formed in 1845. Gale's of Horndean was bought in 2005 and closed a year later. Dark Star of Sussex was bought in 2018 and closed in 2022 (Hophead is brewed at Chiswick, the other cask beers at Meantime). Fuller's sold its brewing interests to Asahi in 2019 but kept its pubs and hotels.
