Description

Owners of the First In Last Out (FILO) set up their own brewery in the back of the pub in 1985, to become Hastings first brewpub. The current owners took over in 1988, and in 2011 relocated the brewery to the nearby Grade II-listed stable at Torfield Cottage. The brewery continues to supply ales to the FILO pub, together with many other pubs within Hastings, and throughout Sussex and Kent.
