Description

The brewery was established in 2012 by James and Tom Fownes in premises to the rear of the Jolly Crispin, Upper Gornal. A later expansion saw the brewery moved to a new larger site in Brierley Hill. Frequent specials along a 'Dwarfen Ales' theme are brewed in addition to the core range. Fownes opened its first pub, the Royal Oak, Burton, in 2020.
