Description

Opened in 1983 in a 200-year-old former malt kiln and corn mill, the brew-length is 60 barrels. The brewery is building a tied estate, now standing at 16 houses. Beers can be found nationwide through wholesalers and around 80 free trade outlets are supplied direct. The RT Brew Co range is produced for HB Clark (qv).

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.

Old Mill - Brewery Tour

By prior arrangement for groups and customers only; the brewery has a hospitality bar however the "Finale" is a cellar tour in the nearby brewery tap (Brewers Arms) with a "cask to glass"talk followed by a pork roll meal in the carvery.
