Real ale discount scheme

Bare boards and brickwork bar with two distinct areas. The front and bar area offers a small number of tables around an open fire, while the raised rear section has booth style seating for eating and drinking. Up to four cask beers are served, generally from small local and regional breweries along with four keg lines for craft beers. The food is upmarket and from guest chefs and pop-ups. Recent offerings have included POSH hot sandwiches from local chef Dan Lee who was champion of Masterchef: The Professionals in 2021, Pan Asian street food, and Caribbean fusion. Sunday lunches are popular and booking is advised. The upstairs room hosts a variety of events including open mic, theatre and themed music nights. It is available to hire for functions. The pin badge wall downstairs honours this 19th century building's history. Card payment only.
