Fairly large former Hardy & Hanson's pub in a quiet village. Traditional pub style interior with table and wall lamps, plates and horse brasses, net curtains at windows and a real fire. Excellent, generous sized and good value home-cooked meals are served lunchtime and evening every day.
Historic Interest
Parts of the building date from 1805 when it included a small pub, a blacksmith's forge and a butcher's shop within the current pub footprint.
