A pub since 1821, with a downstairs bar and an upstairs lounge. The pub has cosy décor and is part of a Georgian terrace close to Clifton Suspension Bridge. One permanent (Bristol Beer Factory Fortitude) and two changing guests from local breweries and wider afield. Usually a dark beer during Winter months. Hogans Cider (keg) and Hogans Dry in bottles. Wide range of bottled Belgian beers stocked, plus 8 on tap: Delirium Tremens, La Chouffe, Vedett, Blanche de Bruxelles, Kasteel Rouge, Bavo, Leffe Blond and one changing. A range of traditional pub fare Mon-Wed, and roasts Sunday afternoon. Quiz every 1st and 3rd Thursday, Sunday film nights in Winter. The rear garden is accessed from upstairs. No entry after 10pm. No children under 14 due to licensing restrictions.
