A restaurant and pub in the quiet roads in the old part of Cheddar, 300 yards away from the Gorge. Parts of the building date back to Queen Elizabeth I's time. The bar area is plushly carpeted with high back seats and wrought iron tables. The menu consists of mainly homemade dishes with emphasis on fish and exotic meat dishes. Food is served in either the bar or the the main restaurant area, in good weather dining is catered for in the front or rear garden. The garden area contains a wendy house and decking on which to sit and view Cheddar Gorge.
