Originally a 16th century coaching house, this welcoming and cosy free house village pub features oak beams throughout and is situated atop a hill just off the main Southam Leamington road. Historic photos of the pub and the village are displayed in the hallway. The large garden has magnificent views of the Warwickshire countryside over what was the Forest of Arden. On clear days you can see as far as the Malvern Hills some forty miles away and the sunsets are quite often spectacular. Cider is always available for cider drinkers. The pub’s home-made food is very popular. The pub is an ideal starting or finishing point for a number of fine walks. Ufton Fields nature reserve is nearby.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
