Reopened and revitalised September 2023 this pub, originally built in late Victorian era, serves four well kept cask ales, including one from Ainsty where the licensee's husband is head brewer. It is a family friendly community pub with a quiz night on Tuesday and live music on Sunday between 5pm and 8pm. The food offering is charcuterie and tapas with steak night on Thursday and an extensive wine selection. There is an large beer garden partially undercover.
