Welcoming beamed country local opposite the village green, dating from the 17th century. The comfortable lounge area has a glass wall of bottled beers, a wooden propeller, an odd wooden hand seat and a collection of vintage radios. The central bar serves two regular and two to three guest beers, and is warmed by wood-burning stoves. Sunday lunch is a carvery only. There is a pleasant front garden with picnic tables and a covered, heated smoking area to the rear.
