Built during the 18th century, this was originally known as the Board Inn and was extensively renovated in the 1980s, when the name was changed; however, it still retains some original features. In 1816, a tunnel was discovered that led to a dungeon and like many York pubs, this one is said to be haunted. There is an interesting history board in the bar on the right hand side.
This Pub serves 5 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
