In an isolated position above Rosedale and Farndale, this is the highest pub in the North Yorkshire Moors. The area is steeped in history, from ancient crosses to 19th-century iron workings. This historic inn has offered food, drink and shelter for well over 400 years. The heavily beamed and bare-stone-walled interior has several interconnected seating areas and a separate restaurant with several roaring fires in winter. Weston's Old Rosie scrumpy is also available
