Large back-street Victorian local, originally a Truman's pub and then subsequently owned by John Smiths (Courage), Wards/Vaux, and Punch Taverns before becoming a privately-owned free-house in 2009. The large comfortable public bar is linked at opposite ends, in a U-shape, with a small lounge and a pool room. Friday evening entertainment alternates between live music and karaoke. Popular with football supporters on Burton Albion match days, when filled cobs are available; the club's Pirelli Stadium is ~650m distant.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
