Classic unspoilt village pub, dating back to the 19th-century, tastefully refurbished in the mid-1980s. With authentic exposed wooden beams throughout, the attractive bar also features a brick-lined fire-place and red tiled floor, while the comfortable lounge, with some high wood-backed settles, has a similar homely feel.
Local fishing and shooting groups (including clay pigeon shooting) are based here. 'Open mic night' last Thursday in month. A steam rally is hosted in July. Staffordshire Way passes nearby; walkers and cyclists welcome.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
