Historic Interest
In 1861 listed in High st. A report in the Bury & Norfolk Post & Suffolk Herald** on 15 Jun in 1886 states that : Mildenhall Petty Sessions: Extension of time: LARGE, at Red Lion, Icklingham - 1 hour on 14th. A Victorian brewer is listed here in 1900 Since the 18th century this pub was tied to Greene King, but the current owners now own the freehold & have decided to give the cask pumps a little break from serving Greene King products.
