Situated on the town's pretty high street, this traditional inn has three bars, one a lovely central snug. The heart of the building dates back to Tudor times. The pub is a rare outlet for Greene King XX Mild. Good value lunches and early evening meals are served in the restaurant. Dominoes, crib, darts and pool are played in leagues and for charity fundraising. Dogs and children are welcome.
