A large stone-fronted roadside inn, located in the heart of the village, that has been undergoing something of a community-led revival since March 2017. A local business man garnered the support of others to take on a lease from the pubco with the aim of reversing its decline. Re-opening the kitchen and providing pub food won local support. It comprises two large rooms either side of a main entrance with bars between. To the left is a stone-flagged traditional public bar whilst a more food-led area is located to the right. The beer garden at the front of the pub is popular in good weather and includes large screen TVs for outdoor viewing. There is an extensive pub food menu and roast dinners are available on Sundays. A quiz night is held on Thursdays.
