Brakspears took over the former British Queen and reopened it in November 2015 as the Pocket Watch, then their first managed pub in London. The two bars were merged into one, with large windows and a stripped-wall decor (spot the Audubon print). Despite the new name, there is nothing horological in evidence. Football is the sport of choice, but there is also a DJ spinning the discs on a Saturday night and there is a quieter quiz on a Sunday evening. Toilets are upstairs.
