Dulcimer is a popular bar right in the centre of Chorlton just yards from Chorlton's "Four Banks" crossroads converted from a stationers in 2007.
Up to four changing cask beers, brews from Pomona Island, Marble, Kirkstall and Thornbridge are regular features. Cider from a major producer is served via a fifth handpump on the bar.
Downstairs is one long room leading out past the disabled toilet to a seated and heated back yard.
Upstairs is another lounge, there is a small bar which can be opened for occasional use. At the far end of the room is a raised stage area where a variety of acts perform, mainly folk acts and singer-songwriters. The toilets are another floor up.
Apart from the usual crisps and nuts etc. a pop up noodle bar will be operating from Thursdays to Sundays.
The bar has a 'happy hour' every day up to nine PM, many drinks are at a reduced price, sadly not ales.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
