A former house that was once surrounded by nine giant trees, hence the name, not all of which have survived to this day. The elegant facade of the building can be viewed from the large garden. There is picture of the house in 1890, then known as Lissadrone, on the wall to the left of the bar counter. The house was later converted into a pub which boasted a public bar, lounge and snug. As is often the case the interior has since been reconfigured and opened out to provide a spacious environment for drinkers and diners. The interior is comfortable with attractive contemporary fixtures while other wall space is given over to sketched black & white cartoons in between the usual framed promotional posters. The main menu is extensive with a wide range of inexpensive food options while there are separate breakfast and Kids menus making it a popular place for family dining. Pub quiz Sun & Thu.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (occasional) and 2 regular beers.
