Free house situated on the outskirts of the village with a large lawn and garden and fine views of the Blyth valley. The pub has three small public rooms with the front bar full of character with old enamel advertising signs and an open fire in winter. Good food is all home-cooked using local produce (no food Sun and Mon). Beer festivals are held over the late May and August bank holiday weekends. Camping is available by prior arrangement.
