This pub is situated just 200 yards from the National Trust Montacute House and is a lovely ham stone village pub offering a warm and friendly welcome. Home-cooked meals and daily specials are made from locally sourced ingredients where possible. There is a pleasant walled garden away from the road and perfect in the summer. The separate skittle alley is also used for small functions and skittles parties. Open bank holiday Mondays 12-5. A selection of two or three Palmers cask ales and the real cider on hand-pump is also from Palmers.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
