A fine anchor sign hanging on the exterior wall with a 1741 date.The interior is large, part-divided into three areas, all served from a central bar with five handpulls. Nautical theme internally with a fine selection of old spirits mirrors on the walls.Food available most of the day. Situated centrally in the real ale hotspot of Broughty Ferry at the mouth of the Tay estuary. Pleasant coastal walks nearby along a fine seafront esplanade with golden sands, a castle and small harbour.
