This popular locals' pub originally had its own brewhouse which is now the darts room, home to two darts teams. The large cellars remain and part form the storage for the modern pub. The pub has a light and airy feel, with an open and a log-burner in use when required. Four real ales are served, 3 of them changing guests sourced regionally. Good food is available and there are regular themed evenings including Tapas and Wine & cheese. It is the venue for an annual beer festival which raises funds for the local church.
