Comfortable, many-roomed pub with lots of woodwork. Separate bar with pool table, snug and restaurant. Extensive menu served every day with additional specials. Usually just one national (frequently Robinsons) brand real ale, but occasionally two in summer. A Post Office counter is set up in the bar two days a week. (Monday 1pm to 4pm & Friday Noon to 3pm)

Note - Real ale has frequently not been available during 2022, now advised that issue sorted.
