Originally the hunting lodge for Sheffield Castle, this Tudor building has a fascinating history. The U shapes lounge surrounds a central bar and adjoins a superb beamed dining room, upstairs function room for hire. Owned and operated by Thwaites. The cask beer range is typically two changing Thwaites cask beers and four other changing guest cask beers (typically from a local brewery, e.g. Abbeydale, Blue Bee, Acorn). Often offers a strong cask beer or a stout.
