This ivy-clad inn dating from 1753 on the banks of the River Wye is handy for the spectacular walk along the Monsal trail. It is a multi-room pub including a cosy lounge with real fire and a comfortable dining area. Walking boots and dogs are welcome in the hikers' bar. Good, traditional pub food is served daily and the guest beers are mostly LocAle. The accommodation is a self-catering apartment.
