Next to the village church this fine 15th-century rubble wall construction building was once the almshouse. It has a traditional main bar interior of heavy beamed ceiling, wood panelled walls, an exposed stone fireplace with inset wood-burning stove, exposed timbers and stonework. It has a separate bar/restaurant, serving good quality meals, using mainly local sourced produce.
