Originally built as a railway hotel adjacent to the long closed Parkgate Station. It now stands on its own, close to the roundabout that leads to Parkgate Retail World. it was popular with workers from the nearby Aldwarke Steel Works in the past. Handy for the retail park and for the South Yorkshire Transport Museum. Under new management in September 2017. Fresh cooked lunchtime meals and carvery on Sundays.
