Pooleys was an attractive, well-appointed village tea room by day and a busy licensed bar in the evenings, but now only opens in the evening as a pub. Popular with local drinkers and visitors alike. Has three rooms heated by log burning stoves in the colder months. The bar area often serves Batemans beers plus other rotating guests. 52 malt whiskies are also stocked to add to the choice available. The Stagecoach Scunthorpe to Lincoln bus route passes through the village.
