The epitome of a traditional village pub, open plan in design, with a polished wood bar and overhanging hop bine. Simply but comfortably furnished in rustic style, it has a welcoming real fire. Beers from the Greene King range usually available, supplemented by guest beers. Weekly quiz nights are held, and a games area is used for darts. The pub has an attractive beer garden framed by mature trees. A hidden gem worth finding.
