New Northern Whisper Brewery Tap which opened September 2020 since COVID. Situated at the traffic lights at the top of Bridge St, the premises have been tastefully renovated with three separate drinking areas on different levels. There are four Northern Whisper cask ales on hand pump, with a further eight craft keg taps selling Northern Whisper ales. Two taps serve keg cider from Talking Horse.

Not suitable for wheelchairs because of different levels.

Address moved back to 2 Market Place as their web site.

On Wednesday all cask ales are £1.50 per pint
