A typical JDW pub, converted from an old Nat West bank which opened on 25/03/02. There is usually a very good range of local live beers (real ales), including varying beers from Bays, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Otter, South Hams and Summerskills. Other beers from Devon and Cornwall breweries feature regularly, as well as from further afield. There is also a good range of real cider and perry, such as Hunt's Bull Walloper. Beer and cider festivals occur several times a year, including a Devon beer festival. Brewery Showcase and Tap Takeover events also occur regularly. A weekly quiz takes place on Wednesday evenings at 2000.
