18th century thatched marshland pub with bowling green, situated on the Weavers Way long distance footpath. This refreshingly traditional local is the only survivor in a village which once had three pubs. It offers a warm welcome, and a blazing fire on winter days. Clientele are an eclectic mix of locals, walkers, and those seeking a quiet pub with good company. Note evening only weekdays. Quiz and vynyl nights feature in this fine example of a community hub. The Wolf range of ales usually on offer, along with Humpty Dumpty and St Peter's.
