Popular and busy split level village local dating from the 16th century. Up to four regional beers available. The excellent food is prepared by a French chef and is served Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime and Wednesday to Saturday evening, fish being a particular speciality. Locals enjoy a book club, dominoes and darts. The National Trust owned Southwell Workhouse is less than two miles away.
