On the site of a 16th century bakery this public house was closed for a lengthy period of years during which time it was used as offices, before re-opening in the mid 1980’s. One roomed pub with separate restaurant/function room which can open to main room. There is a skittle alley and pub games.Accolades:Newark CAMRA Pub of the Season, Summer 1998 and Summer 2000.
