Good village pub with great good value food lunchtimes and Friday evenings - well worth a visit!
The layout of this pub, which is at right angles to the road, with its two rooms and off sales in a panelled entrance passage has been like this for at least 50 years. The public bar was changed a bit in the '70s e.g. new shelves for a bar back and the half-height panelling, fireplaces and bar front all date from 2005. The lounge The counter has a 1930s brick fireplace and wall-bench seating at least 50 years old in but in the 1970s a bar counter was added to replace a simple flap. Outside gents'. Not enough for RI
