The TSB building (which The Bank Cafe now is) in Muirend was designed by Scottish architects Paterson & Stoddart in 1927. The glass roof over the original banking hall can be compared to the more elaborate dome of the former Savings Bank in Ingram Street in Glasgow's city centre. The main bar and seating area is at ground level and there is a raised area at the back and a small upper floor which can be booked for functions. The typical food is nachos and burgers.
