This traditional 16th century inn oozes character with its flagstone floors, log fire & low oak beams. Outside there is a large family friendly beer garden, or quieter patio area. A friendly clientele ensures a good pub atmosphere, attracting visitors from far & wide, Ollie the pub spaniel offers a warm greeting, no surprise they were awarded CAMRA Forest of Dean Pub of the Year 2015 & 2016.
A frequently changing menu is on offer, showcasing local seasonal produce. The 4 regularly changing ales always include a local offering such as Bespoke brewery, Kingstone & Wye Valley. Traditional local ciders are available on hand pull & in bottles.
