Small friendly stone-built community local set in a neat row of terraced cottages, just slightly uphill from bridge 34 on the Macclesfield canal.
Food is a new feature of the pub.
Unicorn is always served along with a Robinsons Seasonal/one-off beer, at peak times this is supplemented by a third Robinsons beer.
There is a separate pool room off the rear terrace.
The outdoor terrace at back overlooks fields with the town in the distance. Parking is tricky on narrow road. Macclesfield - Whaley Bridge bus stops nearby (Mon-Sat Daytime)
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
Three Crowns, Macclesfield
