The pub is situated along Wharf Street, and was renovated in approx. 2010 to become a popular Real Ale and Wine House. Entrance is from the street, through an inner porch and into the main room. Furnishings are varied, having padded seating along two sides, with regular tables. There are also two elevated tables, one of which is underneath the open staircase which leads to the toilets. The real fire is housed in a separate area with padded seating. The bar is L-shaped and has four Real Ale handpumps, although generally only two beers are available. Flooring is Natural Stone throughout the main room. Past the bar is an additional smaller area with wooden floor and regular tables and chairs. Original separate fireplace with real fire. This area tends to be only used at weekends, when there is occasional Live Music. A large external veranda has additional seating.
Under new ownership from November 2023. Awaiting new survey.
