Beam & Bryg opened its doors for business in mid-November 2018 following the closure of its predecessor, the Pear Tree earlier in the year and has undergone a refurbishment. It's named after the town in which it lies, Bamber Bridge being derived from the Old English, "bēam" and "brycg" meaning "tree-trunk bridge".
It is now a family and dog friendly local serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open seven days a week. A variety of still ciders are served on handpump but no cask ale.
